In April 2026, Infinity Insurance Agency, Inc. (IIA) proudly celebrated the next generation of business and community leaders by sponsoring the Community Impact Challenge at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta. The competition brought together talented high school students from across the United States to develop innovative ideas focused on expanding STEAM opportunities in underserved communities.
The Community Impact Challenge received 24 entries from high schools across the country, showcasing thoughtful and innovative solutions to local community needs. Teams submitted professional four-minute video presentations featuring ideas that ranged from expanding classroom learning experiences for elementary and middle school students to helping bridge the technology gap for senior citizens through educational programs and digital literacy initiatives.
Infinity Insurance Agency representatives attended the national conference in Atlanta in April 2026 to present awards to the winning teams and celebrate the students' achievements.
This year's winning schools included:
- The Harker School – California
- Syosset High School – New York
- Skyline High School – Washington
The creativity, research, and passion demonstrated by every participating team reflected DECA's mission of preparing emerging leaders for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management while encouraging students to make a meaningful impact in their local communities.
